Nettle is not only blood-purifying

Many horses enjoy eating dried nettle, but there are also horses that eat it fresh and have found a way to avoid the stinging hairs. Do you have nettles in your pasture/paddock? Mow or pick them and feed them to your horse! You can also make tea or soup from the young leaves, which is very healthy for people as well.
Nettle is an herb with great medicinal properties. It purifies the blood, helping to eliminate waste from the body. It also helps to expel excess fluid and improves circulation.
